The newest ship of the Hurtigruten-fleet right now is Spitsbergen, a converted ferry which started her somewhat troubled life as Antlantida. I’m not going to retell the whole story as you can find it all over the Internet, but the thing I find to be the most funny detail about Spitsbergen is her callsign, LEIF… a very typical Norwegian name. Here are some of my own images of the ship in question, taken at various times during her first year of operation.
