Viking Ocean Cruises and the “stockfish-ships"

The “new” Norwegian ocean-going cruiseline Viking Ocean Cruises (currently operating the cruiseship Viking Star) recently publized a wonderful new video about the background history of the “stockfish-ships”, also known as the Italian ships.

As all Hurtigruten-fans most probably already know, the “stockfish-ships” (in Norwegian, known as klippfisk-skipene og Italiaskipene) were a fleet of four ships built right after the end of second world war. These four ships were the "Erling Jarl", the “Midnatsol", the “Vesterålen" and the “Sanct Svithun”.

Since this is perhaps the best video about the story of these ships that I have seen, I strongly recommend you all to see it as well.
