In Trondheim, autonomous ships are being tested to high applaud of ship-owners. For them, it would be a wonderful future if their ships didn’t need to have qualified personell on board anymore.
But, this is not unique to shipping. Also airlines and aircraft manufacturers are dreaming of a fututre where pilots will be replaced by computers. Then, there are also those that work really hard to create self-driving cars as well.
In the future, will robots and machines replace the man-power on all our transportation needs?
