Similarly to previous bLOG entry, here is another aircraft photographed at Stockholm Arlanda airport. This aircraft is a Boeing 747-400F (freighter). According to resources on the Internet, there have been two aircrafts with this particular registration, N742CK, one of which is STORED since December 2009, perhaps even scrapped. The other one, which is the one below, is the 760th Boeing 747-400 produced at Everett back in January 1990.
Further information online reveales that this particular aircraft started it’s career with Japan Airlines for about 19 years before it was converted to freighter in December 2009 for Jaoan Airlines. Two months later, in January 2010, it’s ownership was transferred to Kalitta Air, where it (obviously) still is in active duty.
This is apperantly not the same Kalitta Air 747 I photographed at Værnes a while ago (LINK)
