This is great news I think: starting on May 30th 2017, Singapore Airlines is opening a new route from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Singapore Changi Airport, via Moscow. To begin with, there will be 5 weekly departures. According to airline officials, the route is despite a quick stop at Moscow, going to be the fastest route from Scandinavia to Singapore (by 45 minutes if flying from Copenhagen).
It is believed that the route will become very popular with the Swedish business world, with easier access to Asian markets and many other great connections beyond. Early morning arrival time at Singapore (06:15) means travellers will arrive at the brake of the Asian dawn.†
Singapore Airlines will be using a brand new A350-900 from Arlanda, the first airline to use this particular aircraft to and from Sweden.†
