In France, a company is working on relaunching a “new France” - a project called Le Nouveau France. They have a website where you can also see some more renderings and artist impressions.

Personally, I truly hope we will get to see this ship set sail in the future. She is radical in her design and I’m of the belief that even the radically new and modern can be beautiful. The ship’s design has inherited a lot of design features from the former France / Norway and even has strong links to the Phoenix-project. The evolution leading towards her current design have some really strong roots in the history of both French Line and Norwegian Caribbean Lines. At the same time, she manages to obtain a super-yacht like appearance.
