Foreign war ship at Trondheim

Early in March of this year, a foreign war ship came to visit Trondheim. By now, nearly two months later, I have already forgotten which ship it was, and from what country it came. Other than my own local photography business in Trondheim, the most photographed subjects are naturally ships and maritime realted images. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it is my favorite subject right now, but for some reason, I gravitate towards things maritime.†

These images were taken as they had departed Trondheim and were closing up on my own ship. You may notice, in accordance with some military practices, their anchor is ready for dropping. Should they in fact be in need to drop their anchor, I highly doubt the anchor would reach the bottom. The Trondheimsfjord is very deep, really deep. In certain areas at least twice the lenght of their anchor chains.†

UPDATE: F83 is a frigate that belongs to the BRITISH Navy, and is the HMS St. Albans.
