It certainly is a thrill seeing this more than 50 year old ship back in her original livery, still sailing in service for the Hurtigruten. This is one of the oldest classical ships still in service in nearly same route since she was launched back in 1964. Impressive indeed. In the second image, Lofoten is being overtaken by “modern form of transport”, the fast ferry Tyrhaug. Both images were taken today on April 28th 2015 on the Trondheimsfjord.
